On July 24,2008, I began my journey in early childhood education as a substitute teacher aide. In less than a year, I became a permanent teacher aide in a toddler classroom, where I discovered my passion for helping children grow and learn. I’ve since worked with children of all ages, from infants to Pre-K, continually growing as an educator.
In the fall of 2011, I began my Child Development Associate (CDA) training, which opened the door for me to become a preschool teacher and lead teacher for infant and toddler classrooms- a role I’ve proudly held for over 13 years. In the Spring of 2021, I was honored to take on the role of Center Director at our Springfield location. This Summer marks 17 joyful years of service with The Kids’ Place, supporting children and families in our community.
I’m a loving and caring mother of three, a proud grandmother, and a devoted daughter. I also share my home with Dexter, my loving dog, and Kai, my sweet cat. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, caring for plants, and exploring the outdoors through hiking and other adventures. I’m deeply dedicated to both my work and my family, and I bring that same passion and commitment to everything I do.
